Last night's immigration presentation

North County Multiple Species Conservation Program public workshops
There will be a public workshop tonight in Fallbrook from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at the Fallbrook Public Utilities District, 990 E. Mission Road, Fallbrook to discuss balancing new home construction in the county with consideration for the environment and endangered species. Future meetings are: Tuesday February 4th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ramona Community Center, 434 Aqua Lane, Ramona and Feb. 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Elfin Forest/Harmony Grove Fire Department, 20223 Elfin Forest Road.

A Look at Immigration
The North County Chapter of the San Diego World Affairs Council will be presenting a series of 4 discussions about immigration issues by renown experts in the field. The first presentation - "Overview of local and global immigration issues" will be this Tuesday, January 27th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Escondido Public Library's main location. See the Sikes Adobe Historic Farmstead
There will be an open house of the newly restored historic Sikes Adobe Farmstead this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. See what 19th century life was like along the San Dieguito River.
