ALA's response to Edwin Meese's comment
"Libraries are a cornerstone of American democracy and librarians have dedicated our lives to assisting library users find the best and most appropriate resources for their needs."
The American Library Association has responded to former Attorney General Edwin Meese's comment on yesterday's Today Show that librarians are "more interested in pushing porn than fighting terrorism".
