Teens, come watch "To Kill a Mockingbird" tonight at the East Valley Branch from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Vineyard Room to help kickoff the Teen Summer Reading Program.

Technology and lack of reading are leading to poor writing skills
Today's high school and college students are leaving their schools without the proper writing skills. Among the factors contributing to this problem are the fact that students aren't reading and spend so much time e-mailing and instant messaging without proofreading.
