Lynne Cheney's Recommended Reading for Kids

First Thursday Concert at the Main Library
Don't miss Trio Lyrique, a pianist, cellist and violinist playing music from the Romantic era featuring Dvorak, Brahms and Mendelssohn. Concert is this Thursday, June 5th at 7 p.m. in the Turrentine Room on the 2nd floor of the Main Library.

Arts Center will close museum
The California Center for the Arts will close its museum at the end of July due to state cutbacks causing a budget shortfall of almost $400,000. It will remain closed indefinitely. The 2003-2004 performing arts season will begin in September and proceed as planned.

Kennedy Library releases 1963 White House recordings
The Kennedy Library and Museum has declassified and made available 11 hours of President Kennedy's recordings. For more information, see the press release:
