San Diego 4th Annual Lawn Mower Exchange
Trade-in your pollution-belching gasoline mower and get a brand new, clean running rechargeable, battery-powered mower for 1/3 the cost. At the 4th Annual Lawn Mower Exchange, 415 mowers will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Bring your working gasoline-powered lawnmower, drained of all fluids, AND photo identification showing San Diego County residency to purchase your new electric mower for $150. This mower, a Black & Decker CMM1000, retails for approximately $450 plus tax. (Limit one per address or household while supplies last.) This Saturday, May 17th at 8:00 a.m. at the County Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego. For more information, call the Air Pollution Control District at (858) 650-4707.
